Keeping It Real

Every site seems to impose some sort of censorship upon its readers. Either they don’t talk about one issue, or the other. Maybe one issue is more controversial than another. Or maybe it’s just something that the editor wants nothing to do with. Thisabled believes that individuals with disabilities have the right to express themselves, without fear of authority or retribution. Many people with disabilities go their whole lives wanting to say what’s on their mind, but hold back, for fear of losing one benefit or the other. People with disabilities have every constitutional right to express their opinions, beliefs and outright disgust if that is what they’re feeling. The amount of people that are fearful of speaking for fear of losing a government benefit is not quantifiable. This page is about “free-speech”, a community where people can talk to each other. And yes, disagree and agree on many topics. Information, will equip members of this site with the ability to think and speak freely about issues, which affect the many communities of people with disabilities throughout the United States. It is our responsibility to ensure a public forum for views, which are important to people with disabilities, nationwide.

Like many places with free-speech opportunities, we feel we must place a few rules in order to ensure the survival of our site, and privacy of others. Therefore, the following rules are always taken seriously at Thisabled LLC.

1. Absolutely no discussion surrounding child pornography will ever be allowed on this page. If individuals feel that this is what “free-speech” is all about then you may want to find another site. Thisabled LLC, will provide the authorities with any information regarding individuals and talk of this subject.
2. Please refrain from using personal identifying information about individuals you may be speaking about.
3. Do not use material on our site in which the copyrighted by another, without express written permission from the copyright holder.
4. Thisabled LLC, reserves the right to remove speech, which does not conform to these rules.
